About Our Activities

What activities does Sri Thepa School offer?

Sri Thepa School offers authentic Thai cultural activities for international and local participants, including Thai cooking and traditional Thai dance. Our activities are designed to provide hands-on experiences and a deeper appreciation of Thai culture.

Do I need previous experience?

No. Beginners are welcome. Our instructors will guide you according to your experience and ability. You do not need previous cooking or dance experience to participate.

Are the activities suitable for foreigners?

Yes. Our Thai cooking and traditional Thai dance activities welcome international participants. Our instructors are experienced in introducing Thai culture to participants from different backgrounds.

Can I join just one activity?

Yes. You may choose Thai cooking, traditional Thai dance, or participate in both depending on your interests and available programs.

Where are the activities held?

Activities are conducted in person at Sri Thepa School in the Bangkok metropolitan area, conveniently located next to Sri Thepha Station on the MRT Yellow Line.

Programs & Schedules

How long are the programs?

We offer different activity options depending on the program. Short cultural experiences as well as one-month, three-month, six-month, and one-year programs may be available. Please check the individual Thai Cooking or Thai Dance program page for current details.

Are activity schedules fixed?

Schedules depend on the selected program. Some activities offer flexible scheduling, while structured programs may have an agreed activity schedule. Please contact the school before registration if you have specific travel dates or scheduling requirements.

What happens if I cannot attend one of my scheduled sessions?

Please contact the school as early as possible. Where the program allows, we will try to arrange an alternative session subject to instructor and activity availability.

Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)

Can Thai cooking or Thai dance activities be used to support a DTV application?

Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) includes a category for eligible applicants participating in Thai Soft Power-related activities.

Sri Thepa School offers Thai cultural activities, including Thai cooking and traditional Thai dance, and can provide applicable participation documents to confirmed participants who intend to use their activities as supporting evidence for a DTV application. Eligibility and visa approval are determined solely by the relevant Royal Thai Embassy, Royal Thai Consulate-General, or other competent Thai authority.

Does joining a Sri Thepa School program guarantee that my DTV will be approved?

No. Sri Thepa School does not issue visas and cannot guarantee visa approval. Every visa application is considered independently by the relevant Thai authorities. Applicants are responsible for checking and meeting all visa requirements applicable to their nationality, current location, and place of application.

What documents can the school provide for my DTV application?

For confirmed participants in an applicable program, the school may provide supporting documents such as:

• Letter of Acceptance or Confirmation of Participation

• Activity Schedule

• Participation Fee receipt

• Relevant school or organization supporting documents, where applicable

Additional documents may be requested by the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General considering your application.

When will I receive my Letter of Acceptance?

The Letter of Acceptance or Confirmation of Participation is issued after your registration has been accepted and the required program payment or deposit has been received. The information in the letter will correspond to your registered activity program and participation details. Normally, it takes less than one week to issue it.

What information do I need to provide for the Letter of Acceptance?

You will normally need to provide your full name exactly as shown in your passport, nationality, passport number, contact information, selected activity program, and other information reasonably required for the school to prepare your participation documents.

Can the school apply for the DTV on my behalf?

No. The visa application must be made by the applicant through the appropriate Thai visa application channel.

Sri Thepa School's role is to provide the cultural activities you have registered for and applicable supporting documentation relating to your participation.

Where should I check the official DTV requirements?

Visa requirements may vary depending on your nationality and the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General responsible for your application.

Before registering specifically for DTV purposes, we recommend checking the current requirements on the official Thailand E-Visa website or with the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General where you intend to apply.

Registration & Payment

How do I register?

Choose your preferred Thai cooking or Thai dance program and complete the registration process on our website. If you are unsure which program is suitable for you, please contact us before registering.

When do I need to pay?

Payment requirements depend on the selected activity or program. The applicable participation fee, deposit, and payment conditions will be shown during registration or provided by the school before confirmation.

What happens if my DTV application is not approved?

Visa approval is outside the control of Sri Thepa School. Refunds, cancellations, and administrative charges are subject to the terms applicable to the program you registered for. If your DTV application is rejected by the embassy, you will be refunded the full amount less the documentation fee of 3,000 baht after presenting the embassy's visa denial letter or email.
