Thailand's Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) provides a visa category for eligible foreign nationals participating in certain Thai Soft Power-related activities.
Participants joining applicable Thai cooking or traditional Thai dance programs may request supporting documentation from our school for their DTV application.

Visa approval is solely at the discretion of the relevant Royal Thai Embassy, Royal Thai Consulate-General and Thai immigration authorities. Participation in a program does not guarantee visa approval.

What is DTV?
Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)

Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is a special type of tourist visa designed for those planning to have a longer stay in Thailand. Below are its characteristics:

DTV must be obtained before leaving for Thailand.

Requirements:

Online visa application OR contact the Thai embassy or consulate near you.

A copy of the passport biodata page. The passport must be valid within 6 months from the travel date.

Photograph of the applicant taken within the past six months

A document indicating current location, such as a driver's license, bank statement, or proof of stay. Proof of permanent residence/citizenship

Your newly criminal record clearance.

Financial evidence: amount of no less than ฿500,000 or equivalent in any currency for the last 3 months, e.g. bank statements, pay slips, sponsorship letters, or proof of salary slip/monthly income for the last 6 months

Letter of Acceptance from the institute or company organizing Thai soft power activities. (Sri Thepa School will issue this after the course enrollment).

Applicants of some countries may be required to submit additional documents. Please check at Thailand's e-visa website or the nearest Thai embassy

Those with a long overstay record in Thailand are not qualified.
